Cazimi New Moon June 8th and Supermoon June 23rdThis month treats us with two very special moons!
Cazimi means "heart of the sun". When a planet is within 17 degrees of the sun's arc then it is said to be in the heart of the sun, or in cazimi mode. This is rare so that when it happens we take note of it. It is considered to be a very protective, benevolent and beneficial aspect. It is believed to be "wondrous strong". You can do no wrong.
June 8th, the moon will be in cazimi. If ever you used the new moon energy to write down your wishes, visualization, or any other alchemy, this one must not be ignored to manifest your desires. This is the perfect time to begin a new project or launch a new path for yourself. This Cazimi moon is super lucky. Whatever you start tomorrow (around 11 a.m.) will surely turn to gold!
On June 23rd we have a Supermoon. This will be the closest and largest full moon of the year. It'll also present the moon's closest encounter with Earth for all of 2013. The next time the moon will be this big (or close) will be 8/10/14. What a super time to put your crystals out in the moonbeams for a supercharging to them.
Well what does it mean to have a Supermoon? The tides are bigger than normal, and likewise, emotions are more intense than usual. I personally like to stay home during each full moon, just to be on the safe side. Emergency personnel are always busier during these times. I prefer to stay safe and do readings, work with my crystals, do meditation, and, of course admire the moon outside. Full moons mean getting rid of what no longer serves.... make a wish list of what you do want in life, and decide what you no longer want. With this kind of powerful moon, this exercise will yield super results!
